Default If baseball cards stop being produced - what would you collect?

A few collectors and I were chatting last night about the state of chromium and how it is effecting and will continue to effect the card market for at least the next calendar year. People will have to adjust to waiting longer and longer for these products to drop. Will we see a shift to more vintage? More set building?

If baseball cards stop being produced in totality what would you collect moving forward? Personally I would shift towards almost exclusively set building and try to make some more difficult sets. I am currently working on some more difficult sets anyway but it would probably take 100% of my focus.

I’d probably just continue to collect more action figures.

My player collections keep me awfully busy. I'm good with that.

This is actually interesting. Boy #3 is fourteen and just finished the Ultimate Millenium Falcon. We must have 100 Lego sets disassembled in Ziploc bags with the instructions. It always amazes me how much these continue to go for.

Well you can still collect the ones that have been produced.

But for me, probably vinyl since I already am.

Lol, I did make some good money selling some of my top loader and card saver stash last year.

I cut and polish opals for a hobby so I’d have more money to spend on that.
