Warriors won't finish first in the West, for the simple reason that they know they can win any playoff series irrespective of whether or not they have home court advantage, and therefore don't care about seeding.

Expect Steph, Klay, and Dray to get plenty of rest, play 60-70 games each at most, and then dominate in the playoffs.

they may very well rest - so tough to predict the West per usual - I'm expecting a leap from Wiseman, maybe even more from Kuminga, Poole, and Moody as well.

The only things I'm certain of in the west as far as games-played goes is that AD will miss a chunk and Kawhi will be handled with kids gloves even if he's healthy, I don't see him playing more than 45-50 regular season games and the LAC being the team that really doesn't care about seeding and only wants to be healthy heading into the postseason.

Kings will continue the streak of being the most irrelevant team in basketball.

Is there any team in the Top 6 that the Raptors are clearly better than? I'm thinking the Heat because Jimmy can't do this forever but still

Depends who's top 6 we're talking about. Heat would probably be one.

The Raptors finished 48-34 last year and deepened their bench this off season while hopefully seeing improvements from Achiuwa and Barnes. 46 wins looks to be the benchmark for top 6. I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest they land in the same win total range as last year.

Other teams made moves too. And i'm not discounting them. But i've seen this scenario play out every year since 2013 (except the tampa mess).

For what it's worth every year since then (except the tampa mess) the Raptors have beat the Vegas win totals. This year Vegas has that set at 45.5 which if beat puts them at 46.

That's because they're a tiny market in a largely irrelevant city.

How the NBA can have teams in places like Sacramento/Utah/OKC, but no teams in much bigger cities like Seattle/Las Vegas/Nashville is beyond me.

Raptors are my sleeper team (have been for the past couple years). They're quiet but can hang with the best of them when healthy (unfortunately, they had a lot of injury issues last year). Looking forward to seeing what they accomplish and hope they remain (mostly) healthy.

This is the first training camp in years where everyone is healthy - knock on wood.

The regular season is so hard to predict anymore with load management and teams just generally not caring as much about regular season standings. Plus the typical mix of injuries and then the chemistry issues with top teams like the Nets and Suns. I have no idea what's going to happen.

East
1. Nets
2. 76ers
3. Bucks
4. Celtics
5. Cavs
6. Heat
7. Hawks
8. Bulls
9. Raptors
10. Pacers

West
1. Suns
2. Nuggets
3. Warriors
4. Grizzlies
5. Mavericks
6. Clippers
7. Timberwolves
8. Pelicans
9. Lakers
10. Blazers

Not going to try and predict exact order, just going to do tiers:

Celtics

Tier 2
Nets
Cavs

Tier 3
Heat
Raptors
Hawks
Bulls

West

Tier 1
Warriors
Nuggets
Clippers

Tier 2
Suns
Grizzlies

Tier 3
Mavs
Pelicans
Lakers
Wolves

Cleveland now has 3 2022 All-Stars on their roster, and so much more. I think they could win the east. Do not discount how good we could be with our frontcourt size (stay healthy please!).

All right. I'll give a try that many will think is delusional. Banking on injuries or missed games or chemistry issues in the bottom 4 there...

Bucks
Heat
Raptors
Celtics
Nets
Cavs
76ers
