Can anyone identify this Bo Jackson card? My son-in-law has it. I thinks he may have gotten it at a Royals' game back in the '90s. I've done all sorts of searches and can't find it.

Yep, unlicensed, normally distributed at card shows in the 80s and 90s for like 50 cents to a dollar each. Maybe worth a couple of bucks to a Bo collector now, but most collectors ignore them.

Thank you all. A Broder card... I'd not heard of that.

It’s an older term. These cards went out of style in the mid 90’s. The feds started sniffing around and it ended soon after that. One show they “raided” one dealer that only sold these cards. They seized his cards on the spot.

That’s nuts. Just wait until feds start sniffing around card dealers nowadays and when those tax forms go out for 2022. Yikes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'd sit down and watch a documentary about the Broder cards. Would love to hear more about how it started and all of the details.
