and I buy a box of 2022 Topps Tier One .

Very nice but I wish they would go back to on card autos. Once upon a time Tier 1 was mid/high end. Now everything, including NT is sticker autos.

Not sure what you mean, as one of his hits is on-card. the dual stickers is probably logistics around possible damage shipping the cards out twice. Gypsy Queen, Stadium Club, Ginter, and Heritage have on-card. Never been a Panini fan myself.

I should have said now all products are increasingly using sticker autos. I realize Tier 1 still has the on card autos but I’m referring to the older Tier 1 years as opposed to present day. I am seeing the use of more sticker autos. Tier 1 before Panini releases their NT and Flawless and Immaculate etc etc was a mid to higher end Topps product and you rarely would see any sticker autos. I remember poorly inserted “cut autos” from past greats but these stickers are just not for me personally. I’m pretty sure if I had to sign a loan I could not apply a sticker and imagine going to a ball park and instead of athletes physically signing items they started applying stickers. I remember the outrage when Topps Chrome Football was always on card autos and Russell Wilson 2012 RC was a redemption auto we waited a year for and it came as a sticker. The hobby went berserk, including myself who has a gold /10 “sticker auto” chrome rookie. It’s been increasingly common ever since but the outrage of that Russ Wilson sticker auto redemption lives on as a first of many to come…sorry for long read. Happy Holidays!
