Thought it would be fun to start a new thread for the new year…

First up is this Jack White Worlds Finest 11 cover hitting this month….

And this DCeased Batman/Purple Rain album cover homage has been pushed back until April but it’s going to be awesome as well…

And the Alex Ross Timeless Villains covers probably deserve their own thread… they are all great!

Looks like the Jack White Worlds Finest 11D cover (not a ratio) that releases next week might be showing a little early buzz. It’s sold out at a number of online places, limited to 1 copy at another popular online place (Midtown), and Golden Apple… which shows an $18 cover price is apparently sold out at that price.

It’s a great cover… will be interesting to see what happens once it hits shops and goes out to the masses. Does Jack White have a big enough following that the book ends up having strong secondary sales after it officially drops next week?

I am a sucker for old pixelated “8 bit” art so when the art of this Hainsworth wraparound cover variant for Avengers 66 posted, I had to preorder it.

The artist created a huge image titled “Marvelous” showing the evolution of Marvel characters since 1939 and posted the image featuring 100s of Marvel characters to Reddit about 7 months ago. Well, it looks like Marvel has paid him to do multiple wraparound covers to showcase all the characters in his original mural.

The above issue is Avengers 66, Avengers Forever 15 is also available for preorder and is listed as another wraparound connecting variant. Based on his initial image posted to Reddit, there is likely one or two more covers planned. Great stuff!

Guy on the right is Jack White from the White Stripes. Not sure about the person on the left, looks like they're wearing a gimp mask.
