Three of the four remaining NFC teams are from the NFC East.

Bills fans sweating.

Jags are riding high. I am worried they are going to catch my Chiefs looking ahead to the AFC championship. The Chiefs love to play down to their competition…

Giants and Jaguars are the only 2 left playing with house money as nobody expected either of them to get this far. The other 6 were expected to be here. I don’t see the Giants or Jaguars moving but they can play pressure free. If the Cowboys play the 49”ers the way they played tonight I see a close affair probably within 3 points but I will give it to the 49”ers 20-17.

Eagles over Giants 30-21
Bills over Bengals 38-35
Chiefs over Jaguars 28-24

now that Tampa and Minnesota, the two worst playoff teams in the conference are out, it's time for the next round of the playoffs.

the Eagles-Giants game is the toughest one to call, because the Giants are downright scary and honestly, are bringing back memories of those Eli Manning ones that made their runs.

i think they have a very real shot to beat the Eagles. Chiefs, 49ers, and Bengals are all moving on to the next round.

and i'll take the Giants. i want to play the Eagles in the title game, but man, i would love to get some revenge on those Giants for that 2011 title game.

I was at the game. Easily the saddest 49ers game I've ever attended in person.

Micah Parsons is such a joy to watch. His instincts and play making ability reminds me of Troy Polamalu. A dude that can be anywhere and still make the play.

Obligatory Bengals post complaining how ridiculous it is we have to play in Buffalo. I know I should be over it by this point, really hope we come out and blow them out of the water any way.

Jags, Giants, Bengals, 49ers are my picks.

Which means a Chiefs, Eagles, Bills, Cowboys moneyline parlay is a lock.

Three of the games are rematches (two if you don't count Bengals and Bills). Interesting to see how the playoffs have played out so far in terms of matchups.

Also, I have hope for my Jags, they only lost by ten against the Chiefs earlier this year and I feel like the team is playing with a lot more confidence now than they did in week 10

Jags have nothing to lose.

I’m rooting for the Giants to pull the upset.

Bengals Bills = another classic

49ers Cowboys…who knows…but its gonna be a good one as well.

Bottom line: this is going to be an awesome weekend for NFL fans. Enjoy everybody

49ers will have a huge advantage over the Cowboys by virtue of having played Saturday afternoon, as opposed to Monday night. Plus the Cowboys have to fly cross-country. So that gives the 49ers an extra 2+ days of rest.

Not saying that the Cowboys can't beat the 49ers, but it decreases the odds quite a bit. So I'd say 49ers 80%/Cowboys 20%.

Andy Reid is 27-4 after the bye week.

I'm not all that worried unless they give up 2 turnovers on special teams again.

On top of that, if they lose this game, then they weren't winning a Super Bowl anyways.

It would certainly be awful timing for Purdy to have his first "play like a late round rookie QB" game.

Absolutely awful timing.

The Cowboys played 3 games in 11 days from November 13th to November 24th, went 2-1 and should have won all three (not withstanding God awful corner technique down the stretch against Green Bay).

They also played three games in 11 days between December 18th and December 29th and went 2-1. Again, poor secondary technique (mostly Kelvin Joseph) cost them a victory against Jacksonville.

Short week, long week, doesn't really matter. It comes with the dinner.

So glad Joseph seemed to be relegated to special teams duty last night.

"I don't know if I ever made a halftime adjustment in my entire 18-year career. I think that's the biggest myth in football- the halftime adjustments. You go in, you use the restroom, you eat a couple of oranges, and then the head coach says, 'Alright, let's go!'"- Peyton Manning

Its so hard to say how the Dallas/49ers game goes.

- 49ers just beat a 7th seed that got in the last week of the season.
- Dallas just beat an awful-looking Bucs squad with no run game and a losing record.

I don't think those wins tell us a lot.

I don't think Purdy will play like a rookie. He's had plenty of chances to stink it up at this point and he plays how he plays. He got a little risky in the last game with some forced throws and a few ill-advised scrambles, but he appeared to shake those off by the 2nd half.

Dallas better be prepared for a relentless run game. I think Shanahan is going to try to wear down that Dallas D by administering a large does of McCaffrey, Mitchell, Kittle blocking and Trent Williams pancake-ing.

Purdy has a pretty basic job: Get the ball in the hands of one of his 4-5 playmakers to let them make plays.

It's easy in the fact that he doesn't have to do anything extraordinary, it's difficult in the fact that he needs to be consistent and efficient to get his job done.

Interested to see how he performs now that the stakes and the competition will be higher this week
