Default How to get a sheet cut?

I have a sheet of cards that I want to have cut and I need it to be done as well as it possibly can. It's a higher-end sheet of 90s cards.

Do any of you have advice or recommendations for how to get this done? I can ship it flat, so it doesn't necessarily have to be local.

Thank you!

SGC used to have a service where they would trim sheet-cut cards for you. Check with them and see if they still do.

That doesn't sound like what I need? I have a sheet. I need the sheet cut into cards. Is that what you meant? I associate the word trim with altering an already cut card.

technically cutting a sheet is also producing altered cards.

I don't know if there is a company that offers to cut an uncut sheet up professionally unless they were also printing the cards themselves and it was part of the production process.

My old middle school art teacher had this long blade that could measure then cut it perfectly. But I don’t know what the doohicky contraption is called

Cutco sells a product at your local Costco. Stop by and check it out!

Shockingly, it's generally called a paper cutter. You might also see 'paper trimmer' or 'guillotine trimmer' used.

That's what I meant. Is this sheet from a set that was also released as singles? If so, you'd be getting altered cards back, since they weren't cut at the factory and packed out.

If you've got a sheet from cards that were only released in sheet form (like Post, Jell-O, Bazooka, etc box cards), then that is not considered altering since the intent was for you to cut them out.

If the sheet is perforated, it is meant to be torn apart gently at the perforations.

This was something they advertised pre-pandemic that kind of disappeared - IIRC they would have a different color label (purple?) but they would carefully cut sheet cut and perforated cards then slab then

A professional printer might be able to help....but know that as some have said....if this sheet was also released as singles, they should/will be considered altered.

I would do it myself. All you need is a large cutting mat, a brand new xacto knife and either a long metal ruler or a large sheet of glass (like from a 24x36 frame) to use as a cutting guide.

So what is the sheet anyway? Just frame it and hang it somewhere
