Default Dillon Brooks: Is he good for the NBA?

Dude has beef with everyone in the league.

Acts tough yet resorts to nut slapping too.

Ever since transitioning from the motown s-curl to the Crucial Conflict braids, it's unwittingly unleashed a SuperThug wildfire that we simply cannot contain.

He used to be such a sweet boy. Enjoyed nothing more than a good book and Pokemon Go.

Would gladly welcome him on the Pels. Could use physicality any way we can get it right about now.

Great for the NBA.

I'm not looing for malice in the palace craziness, but the league needs more beef.

I guess slapping is better than sucking so I said yes.

Voted yes but honestly don't really watch the NBA other than playoffs (and maybe the Wolves when on national TV). He is one of those players that you love on your team for his toughness but HATE as an opponent. I would not compare him to Pat Bev though. Pat Bev does stupid crap all the time and is tough to watch IMO. Even though he brought some defensive tenacity to the Wolves last year his antics drove me up the wall.

You know it’s a weak soft era when Dillon brooks is considered the “bad boy” of the league and people are irritated by his antics. I couldn’t even imagine him doing what he did to Spree , Bonzi from the earlier days . With that being said,it’s good to see someone stirring up the pot and causing some uneasiness in the league with the players .

Punching people in the nuts and yelling obscenities at Shannon Sharpe doesn’t make you anything but a clown.

Now that he's only shooting 8 shots a game instead of 22, I say YES.

NO, he's a punk bitch. Hitting a man in the nuts is a last resort when you fear for your life..... It is not what you do when things aren't going your way in a game.... a regular season game at that.

I'm fine with beef and trash talking as those are part of the game, dirty stuff is never acceptable IMO.

He's dirty for sure and that's not cool.

But at the same time, the league is so soft and has been for so long, it's refreshing to see someone like him that cares enough to compete and try to send a message.

Don't take much to cut through hot butter

If the league's soft, how much of a message is he sending? He's just the edgiest of the bunch and likely will fold if somebody decided to take the suspension & fines

So to someone who enjoys a well choreographed play (i.e. basketball template) vs. throw down see who doesn't get hurt at the end of the game (football), I think the ascendance of Brooks is troubling.

There is a place for physicality... Nesmith is just as physical, but he's not targeting specific players as the Grizz from what little I have seen this year seem to be. I was an early fan of the team as it rebuilt, now I just cross my fingers things don't get smashed.

I don’t mind those plays against the ref favorites. If the player is getting benefit of the doubt any time he drives thanks to whistle happy refs, make them pay In Other ways. But if you just attack everybody that’s stupid.
