That Steph Championship Signature is hella nice. I was hoping they would save that image for a One and One timeless auto release.

It is dope. I’m sure Panini will use it 13 more times for different product.

How much are we predicting boxes will hit for this year?

So far Elite and now Prizm with that image...

Didn't this release in like July last year? Good to see panini at least somewhat getting back on the right track I guess.

This makes me sad. As someone that likes manga and anime, it was one of the cooler insert designs from Panini recently imo, but basketball doesn't get it

I also am somewhat perplexed in general by Prizm not having any good inserts. For a flagship product it just seems bizarre. I guess with so many releases they have to spread around the good inserts into the worse sets to make them relevant.

The Champion Signatures is a good idea though, a lot of people like photos of their favorite players with the trophy.

Know the feeling. I am not even half way done, but not paying up like most are. I am guessing with the Monopoly version included there will be over 100 parallels. Every year they have gone up and 21/22 was 60.

They don't need them to sell the product. I'm surprised they still put autos in to be honest as those do nothing to move the product forward either.

Release dates for previous Prizm releases were:

2018/19 = Nov 21, 2018.
2019/20 = Dec 4, 2019.
2020/21 = March 31, 2021.
2021/22 = July 8, 2022.
2022/23 = April 12, 2023.

So still a way to go to get back to pre-pandemic schedule.

They'll probably re-use it.

But yeah, would've been better with a on-card/premium brand.

Looks like they used real NBA photos of the rookies this year and not photoshopped like last year?

Man, the designs are just get weaker and weaker.

What the hell happened? Oh … nevermind.

Prizm Basketball Draft had a manga insert.

Prizm had solid inserts last year -- Fearless, Fireworks, Prizmatic. The designs are crummy this year.

Huge fan of Tyson Beck's designs. That's beautiful.

Ive been watching those and tempted to grab but I thought I'd hold for an NBA licensed release.

Yeah licensed would be great, but I thought it was a pretty good price for an on-card Curry auto /30. And I'm happy to support an artist like Tyson.

And who knows if Panini will ever make an on-card auto of Curry with the Night Night pose.

2019-20 hobby boxes can be found for under $1700. 2020-21 can be found for under $1200. And 21-22 can be found under $1100. Can't imagine these will be $2000 but maybe close to that on release and then sell off after like the others?

Well the bums are pricing most 22-23 at least 1.5x what 21-22 is currently selling at. Over under on 22-23 Prizm hobby presale is $1500 a box. Odds of coming out ahead around 3% per box. Odds of taking at least a $1000 loss over 80%. But unlike 2022 football you can actually hit cards worth 5 or even 6 figures. Just the odds are very slim.

you can also hit 7 figures on a 10$ scratch off and the odds are basically the same

Your odds are way better on any form of legalized gambling. It's really not even close. I guess technically the big lottery is worse odds but most people are going to spend less than $10 a week on a chance to retire and your family set for forever. This year, and every year, people will hit the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots than hit a 7 figure sports card in a box. There will be zero 8 or 9 figure cards hit.

Overall opening your own or buying into breaks for products marked way above MSRP is by far the worst form of gambling on earth.
