A 1/1 Rookie per FOTL box. Does that mean there are a very limited amount of FOTL boxes? Or will they have multiple variations of the same player? Obviously this is an extremely high-end and limited set but it is crazy to think that you are guaranteed a 1/1 in every box.

If the platinum bar is 1 oz, that's $1k in value right there. Not a chance I'm opening this though.

2017 Kobe Eminence was awesome. The rest of Eminence… kinda meh. Will be interesting to watch how this turns out.

The bottom is $20,000 Really?

I know Eminence is a nice product but there's no way it's worth even the bottom price. At $10,000 it would be tough to make your money back, at $20,000 it's almost impossible. Just because it's called Eminence doesn't make the auto any rarer. All of these auto's can be had in other products (on card) for much less. Eminence is the quintessential "manufactured rarity" product.

Imagine buying into a random team break for $1000 and getting nothing. 20 people would be guaranteed nothing for $1000.

This is nuts. Is there even a chance to break even for most breakers?

It took me a long time to realize she even had fingers, but once I did, good lord those are some huge fingers!

Flawless is a better product than Eminence, with better looking cards. To me Eminence tries too hard to "look" high end. Guaranteed blood bath at that price, per usual.

Employee #1 - "How do we make this even more high end than Diamonds in Flawless?

Employee #2 - "Gold and Platinum chunks?"

Employee #1 - "that's good. But still not high end enough. We need innovation"

Employee #2 - "Let's make them as thick as butcher blocks."

Employee #1 - "That's the kind of outside the box innovative thinking i'm looking for. But let's encase those butcher blocks so they're even thicker!!!"

Wait for the 2023 $50,000 Panini FOTL box of The Bendover Collection to really make some money

I think at this point, the card companies don't care about the odds of a consumer making their money back. It's been so easy for the card companies to make money. Even today with singles prices settling down, wax still seems to fly, especially for the popular mainstream stuff.

The past few years, degens have shown they're willing to pay for this stuff, regardless of odds. Breakers keep making money...the cycle keeps going.

Anybody want to guess at what stupidly absurd price this will "sell out" today?

Whatever the price it's about $20,000 more than I'd spend on a box

Why can't basketball boxes be more affordable like baseball card boxes?

Probably not as many players collect their own cards in that league. Giannis be handing these out as party favors.
