Does anyone use products to help get out surface scratches in your cards? Ive been doing research on products like Mr. Minty and Kurts card care. Are they safe and is there an alternative?
I appreciate all and any advice |

I think most people here would call that card doctoring or altering. But I'd like to know too! My guess is there is probably a product that works much better than all the rest, and it's probably not one of the two you mentioned.

The only way to get rid of a scratch would be to fill it or remove the "topcoat" around it. Think of a scratch on the car. If the scratch doesn't get through the topcoat, you can buff down around it to blend it in. This would be an alteration to the card. Much worse than trying to remove a wax stain.

Topps should release some cards sprayed with 2mil of clear, polish-friendly, so we can bust out the rotary or DA and go to town on the clear coat
