1997 Ultra Thunderclap Frank Thomas ERROR Question

I picked up this insert in a Frank Thomas lot I recently purchased. I know my 90s baseball insert sets pretty well, but have never run across this error in the Thunderclap set. If you compare it against the correct card, there is no name on front, no 1997 Fleer Ultra logo and no gold in the color scheme. I checked active and sold listings on eBay and could not find one sold or for sale. If anyone has knowledge of this particular error, is there any additional value in the card? The card is not even in NM condition, but would it be worth it to put it in a slab just to authenticate the error? I am more curious than anything else, but any help is appreciated.
