Very cool that Jordan Walker officially made it in though his start has not been all that great.

Was not expecting Walker to make Series 2, way more hyped for this now.

I'd wager one is the Gold Mirror SSP (Probably the Laughing one)

Product contains 16 parallels.

Not coincidentally, there are also be at least 16 flagship parallel products with the same design this “product year”.

593,340 total Blue and Purple cards added. Can't wait for a Hobby box to yield a relic, blue /999 and a kick in the balls

Good luck to those buying boxes...but then again, you deserve what you get. ALL of the signs are there to avoid this at all costs. Buy singles! Or open just because you love to rip. But remember, you're post rip crying won't be well received.

Fair where fair is due - looks like Topps is cutting down on time in between debuts/transactions, and updates on cardboard. Noticed this with updated teams on Big League, now RCs making it in timely fashion.

Really weird that they're adding numbered retail parallels for S2, maybe they saw how much S1 was stagnating with the bad odds and decided to juice it? There's flipperproofing it and then there's collectorproofing it.

Wish they would push it back a little. They are going to kill their own Heritage release by having Series 2 release 7 days after its release. Bad timing, caused by Heritage releasing so late, but fixable by pushing this one back a couple of weeks. That Volpe does look nice for sure. Can't wait to see who else will be making it in.

It’s pretty hard to lose money on flagship at release.

It does require a lot of work, so I get that some don’t have the time. But you can’t bash flagship for not having value just because you’re not willing to put in the effort to maximize the value.

I think that’s it. I view each move by fanatics this year as a test to see how little they can offer and how much money they can squeeze out of something. Series 1 retail went past that equilibrium so they’re stuffing it with new parallels.

You didn’t even have to work that hard with series 1 this year if you got jumbo cases at presale prices.

The people who like sorting/listing/shipping cases of flagship should be involuntarily held for psych evals.

It's literally something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

The return on flagship per hour is greater than 99% of the hourly rates people make at their "real" jobs.

EDIT TO ADD: 99% of the people on these boards. Specifically the ones who always complain about no value and it not being worth it.

If you love cards it isn't really a task. At least not for me. It becomes one down the road after you have looked at the same things over and over, but I try to get most of my new release work done within a couple of weeks. Maybe a month depending on the release and the quantity I am opening. There are also faster ways to dump bulk to cut that down even more, but obviously you lose a lot of your revenue doing that.

Yeah, no.

Top 1% income in WV (lowest in the country) is $374,312. Assuming a 60 hour work week, that’s $120/h. You’re bringing in $120/h ripping and listing Flagship?

I said 99%. I was referring to these boards, not necessarily the hourly rate of the country. Maybe I should have clarified that, but I didn't think anyone would be naive enough to think it was referring to the CEOs and the Elon Musk's of the world. But here we are. You never disappoint.
