I'm mainly a basketball card guy, but I came across this baseball card article (CBC radio Canada) where a collector amassed 31,000 unique Montreal Expo cards. I guess I'm not really sure how there are that many unique Expo cards. Is that really possible that the 31,000 are indeed unique?
For anyone else that wants to listen to the article (about 7 minutes): https://www.cbc.ca/listen/live-radio...montreal-expos |

That’s a pretty crazy amount of unique cards. Trading Card Database lists 43,310 expos cards. They did exist until early 2000s so through the glut of various brands in the 90s.

I mean, there's probably 31,000 different Wander Franco cards already so...
Plus there are still expos cards/players in new sets too.
