If not Moss, then Hutson.

i agree, i'll say Moss as well

sad that he never won a title with the Pats or 49ers. and he got so close too.

A pole would have been nice!

Moss is the correct answer.

Three of them barely count - OAK, TEN, SF.

I know most will say Moss but i pick Owens.

Peak wise, at his best, Moss might be the GOAT. But i'm looking at the complete picture. Owens was more consistent, more reliable, more complete and his speed/acceleration gets seriously overlooked. He wasn't just some possession guy. He had deep speed AND great acceleration. He was much more reliable over the middle and better at shedding defenders. Moss was more specialized.

Why the hell does OAK not count? He spent 2 near full seasons there when he was 28 and 29. And that is a stain on his legacy where he was subpar and viewed as a cancer. That's why OAK let him go.

Moss, when he was age 27-29 (2004-2006 - 3 seasons), averaged 775 yds in 14 games. How can the 2nd GOAT put up such subpar numbers, no matter who your QB is?

This is what i mean when i say Owens was more consistent. Owens never had such a bad stretch during his peak/prime and he had a bunch of QBs too. But the production was always there. Moss peaked incredibly high his first 6 seasons in the league but look at his career post that. I know he had that 23 TD season in 2007 along with a 1,200, 13 TD season (he had Brady throwing to him). But the rest? Look it up. I always got the sense that Moss could've done more.

Moss his first 6 years in the league (1998-2003) averaged 87 yds per game. The rest of his career (2004-2012)? 57 yds per game.

TO was the opposite. He started slow as he had to share catches with Rice and averaged 53 yd per game his first 4 seasons in the league (1996-1999). But look what he averaged the remainder of his career (2000-2010 - 11 seasons): 80 yds per game.

he was completely washed up in Oakland, then found new life with SF.

in their primes, the big three of the time were Marvin Harrison, Owens, and Moss.

between the three, i always liked Owens more because to me, he was a more complete WR. he was awesome. but he was also a cancer and broke up a good thing with Garcia.

numbers don't tell all the stats though.

Moss played with Culpepper and Cunningham at the start of his career, and was an absolute beast. then went to Oakland and busted, played i think one season with Brady, another with Matt Cassel, and played in a heavy run offense under Jim Harbaugh and the 49ers.

TO played with Steve Young, Garcia, McNabb, and Tony Romo. i think he even had a season with Carson Palmer in Cincy if i'm not mistaken.

I think Larry Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson have to be part of the conversation.

Moss.

Recycled debate.

Better question is who is the second best QB. Mahomes would be many people’s choice.
