Well, no surprise, he said he plans on playing a few more years and wants to go to a contender. I’m not a huge fan of his, but this is something Memphis should be looking at considering Ja will be out for a while.

Vet Minimum and don't play him until the finals (if your team makes it that far). It could be recent bias but it seems like all the guy does is get hurt in the playoffs.

Apparently his 2 years left (30.8m, 30m) with suns are not fully guaranteed.

He will get 15.8m from the suns and be a free agent. Phoenix can stretch the 15.8m into 5 years at 3.16m.

CP3 might even comeback to the suns once he clear waivers (doubt)

So does that mean they save the whole 27mm against the cap next year or just the 15?

Really incredible he's still going. Once they removed the cartilage from his knee like 12 years ago I never thought he'd have the success he's had.
