I've been on both sides of this - it's nice for fans of terrible teams to have someone to root for in the game. But people like Michael Lorenzen have no business being in the ASG and it's a shame it takes away a spot from deserving players

Wow.. the All-Star game is in Seattle and the Mariners only managed to get only one player selected. It’s tough being a Mariners fan.
