Default For Sale - 1952 Topps Willie Mays #261 PSA 2.5 - Great centering and color, Iconic!

I have this beautiful 1952 Topps Willie Mays #261 PSA 2.5 for sale. One of the most iconic baseball cards of all time! Great color and one of the few on center cards out there. Card has a blemish by his hat and wearing on the corners but otherwise its in phenomenal shape. Comps are especially tough on these early '50s era cards considering the range of coloring, centering, wear and tear, but I'm a firm believer in buy the card not the grade and this fits that model. My asking price is $6,200 and Im willing to take (realistic) offers. Please PM me if you want additional photos.

Well everyone- seller is saying account was hacked and that I’m out two pricey cards and a little cash??!! Any advice?
Anyone know this seller that can verify the name. With their feedback and eBay user name im sure they are well known.
Please message me privately any info you know about them so that I can start the verification process.

If you sent the cards out, try to stop them immediately. For USPS you can use https://www.usps.com/manage/package-intercept.htm

Did you pay them PayPal Good/Services?

I’ve sent multiple messages to blowout as hacker sent trade offers to more than 50 accounts. This is the one deal I’m aware of that was “completed” and he was offering up my card.

The hacker was using the eBay store of lasvegascardstock to lure others in for trades.

I asked trader above to track the pp address of where funds were sent then also reach out to PWCC before it was too late.

Also as I told the trader/victim above, I feel like I was targeted because of my feedback and dealer with higher end items, but also not being as active on blowout anymore. The hacker was sending messages like crazy then deleting everything going in and out for the most part. I could tell this had (luckily) only gone on for a couple days but there were thousands of dollars and cards on the table. Any guidance would be appreciated. Especially from an admin or someone who’s been through a similar experience

As soon as an admin gets involved I’d be happy to share my contact info and get this sorted as. As I said in our PMs, I have nothing to do with any eBay stores, PWCC or lasvegascardstock. I’ve been on blowout for along time and I’m sure people will come forward of deals we’ve completed. My username is literally my first initial and last name, I’ve not been secretive or hard to find in my time on blowout. Hopefully there’s an easy distinction between me and impersonator

I don't know if that account is telling the truth about being hacked or not honestly.

However, for paypal, file a claim right away. If it won't let you, call them.

I don't have any kind of contact with PPWC unfortunately, but I would email them right away and hit them up on social media.

The mods might contact you for more info, but I banned that account.

My account doesn't accept pm, but the mod team will when they see this.

For the forum, if you would post the info of the paypal account and the PPWC account they used - make that public - it will help stop the scammer.

Sorry this happened. I hope PPWC has way to get your cards back. The scammer most likely moved it and/or requested them shipped, but PPWC should be able to stop that I hope.

I know this guy - I can vouch 1,000% that he is not lying. An extremely reputable high end account. And now he can't log in or recover anything. Would highly suggest B.O. looking into this more and being open with him. Sucks to get hacked and say his account is never recoverable.

lasvegascardstock is the latest alias for long-time hobby scumbag Anthony Fernando. He’s a known card trimmer and close friend of Jason Koonce. He is definitively not the OP. However, there’s also no convincing evidence that lasvegascardstock is involved. We need a shipping address and PP info. FWIW, lasvegascardstock could be a victim as well.

It concerns me that both your account and the bbidlingmaier account will post from the same IP address.

I am not convinced that his account was or was not involved, but nothing is at it seems in this thread.

Lol same IP address? I'm in Plymouth, WI and he's in Madison, WI. I don't know how that's remotely possible.

I haven't posted in a while. Bbid text me a plethora of screenshots of what occurred, and I immediately hopped on to vouch.

I mean... just look at his posts and history. I know people can suck, but he's high end and has a lot of history. To come on here and risk his entire reputation on a single card makes ZERO sense.

They played football together in high school. Two different people.

I don't know who you are but shockingly this is correct.

He was also our number 1 pitcher and I was his catcher, lol.

He is as legit as they come, and has a collection we'd all envy. One deal like this to blow a 9 year old account is not what he'd do.

I don't have just one example, I have several. You hopping on and vouching 1000% and calling him highly reputable when you know you are biased is not helping. Unless you have actual evidence, maybe stay out of this.

Several from when? We lived together in 2013? Otherwise no chance. And I am going to stay in for this because I'd legit risk my account for this.

He cannot login now and has zero chance of defending himself.

And yes, of course I am biased. ANYONE vouching for someone is biased. That's the whole point. If I thought it was sus, I wouldn't be on here messaging you, knowing if I'm wrong my account will meet the same fate. Can we DM? I'll gladly pass along his evidence.

I’ve known Brock for quite some time now and will vouch for his character 1000% I have no doubt that what he’s saying is true. Are you able to check where the logins on his account occurred and verify that someone else was accessing it?

Don't mean to hijack you too, but this is a great point. If mods can see IP addresses, unless this scammer can use an advanced VPN to get into a Madison IP, you'd be able to tell. And even then, almost impossible to replicate a person's IP.
