2023 TC Jumbo - Worst Box Ever

Hi all! Buyer beware! Jumbos can really bite you and give you very little. I bought a pre-sale jumbo box from Topps, got it a day after the product hit the streets and it came with the dreaded "No Color" label on the bubble wrap. I've heard mixed thoughts and results about this label, but it sure was true for my box. 2 base autos and 1 refractor auto (which has printing marks). 1 wave non-auto and 1 negative card. That was it. It's the gamble you take, but please be aware.

Autos:
Justin Steele Base
Bo Naylor Base
Jordan Groshans Refractor #/499

Non-auto hits:
Vinnie Pasquatino Wave #/75
Pete Alonso Negative

Only have base of MVP candidates and one Carroll RC.

I also have the follow from a hobby box and 2 Blasters:

Joey Wiemer Base Auto
Alvarez Magenta Speckle #/350
Kyle Tucker Green #/99
Brandon Crawford Orange #/25

Everything is FS, including all the base, refractors and inserts.

Mine wasn’t spectacular either. Turned me off entirely. I gotta start sticking to stadium club and Ginter.

That was far from the worst box ever. You got 3 relevant major league players autographs and a numbered card of another relevant rookie.

Not to say the box was worth what you paid or even close. But I bet this is a median box.

Said that for effect…I agree with you but it still was a bad box and from what I’ve seen not average for color.

Don’t feel bad.

My jumbo box had ZERO autos in it.

IMO that was the worst box ever.
