Exclamation Who's Your 2023 Minor League Player of the Year?

Vote above. If it's someone other than one of these choices, tell us who.

Christian Encarnacion-Strand

(I know, I know, he only played half the year in the minors. But those numbers...)

I have to go with Holliday. To go through so many levels in hisv1st year out of high school, and still crush it, is amazing.

Bobby Dalbec.

I didn't actually vote in the poll because I didn't want to skew the results, but I went to one WooSox game this year where he started the game 0-3 with 3Ks, got a fan that was heckling him from behind the dugout tossed, and had the crowd actively rooting for him to get the golden sombrero in his 4th AB. Unfortunately, he popped out on a 2 strike count.

Man, remember when these types of threads were full of opinions and debate.

Shame.

But I voted Junior

I voted Holliday and I'm pretty sure he'll be #1 when I get to my official list. I think Chourio is still #2, but Caminero's beatdown of AA and now getting called up is giving me pause. If it were just hitting (ie hobby) he'd be at least #2, if not #1, but the real list has to include defense.

I voted for Drew Thorpe in the poll, but I would probably say Coby Mayo for best position player

Glad it was Holliday. He deserved it.

Chourio and Holliday were fun to watch this season.

I voted for Holliday. Went to the Tides playoff game tonight and he had a rough one. He was 0-4 with an error on a throw to the plate. He’ll be fine. He was nice enough to sign for everyone after the game too. Click image for larger version

Same. My brother & I used to go to 20-30 games a year with my Mom when we were younger. Loved going to the games & the fan activities they had.
