Default Danielle Fishel Topps Now Auto (Topanga from Boy Meets World): $69.99

https://www.topps.com/on-card-autogr...-card-931.html

You can apply Topps rewards coupons (up to $40 off) to the purchase if you've accumulated enough points.

Thanks for posting about this. I'll be looking for one of these. Is there a good place to see the entertainment autographs Topps has done? My google-fu turned up nothing useful.

I think this one is part of their daily baseball Topps Now series. She’s in because she threw out first pitch.

I can’t help you with a master list but Timmy Trumpet signed a card for the Topps Now series last year.

No problem at all.

I just follow the Topps Now thread (on BO) every once in a while to get an idea of what might potentially drop.

People in the Topps Now thread seem way too excited about paying $70 for a C-list celeb card that isn't related to the one TV show she's known for.

Seems like a likely Leaf Metal sig one day where they'll actually have pics of her from the show or at least from that time period.

The show was set in the Philly suburbs and here she is wearing a Philly hat on the show - that isn't enough?

Why even comment if you are just going to (weirdly) flame excitement about someone who previously had 0 signed trading cards?

I like the oddball signers. One of the reasons I was hoping Zerocool would succeed is that I thought they would be able to bring in a ton of people who never signed before.

I was disappointed it sold out so quick, I wanted to buy one. Cool concept and an actress whose show I watched back in the day, plus a good price, especially considering you could use Topps rewards points to get a $40 coupon, making it $30, which is an amazing price.

Hopefully Topps sees how popular these first pitch actor autos are, and they keep doing them. And fingers crossed they keep them reasonably priced.

Topps can easily see how popular these are based on print run of the base cards and how quickly the autos sell out. And if they are popular and can keep getting agreements with the celebs, I'm sure they'll keep doing them.

As for keeping them reasonably priced...very doubtful, especially if they rise in popularity.

I wonder what a Taylor Swift auto from last Sunday would have gone for if Topps could have made one.

Taylor has done multiple pre-sale album signings for very little extra cost. While I imagine an actual sit down signing would cost a good bit.

I feel like being issued on a card is a big deal...and if that would be her first auto on a card (I think it would be? Not talking cuts, but manufactured with the auto), it would be pretty big. Similar to how the OP card garners a lot of interest being the first of her autos on a card. Autos have their collecting bases...and sometimes it's card people who just want cards.

Now how much that would cost for Topps to do a signing, or whether it's even possible...that's another story.

I agree completely with both points. The card would become a big deal and instantly very expensive. I also agree I have no idea how much she'd charge to do a signing, but I doubt she will as far as I know she's the highest paid female artist in the world right now.

Hell I got a carrie underwood auto for free (ok whatever the book cost, and my friend stood in line so yay). Her american idol card sells for 3-500 I paid almost 300 to frame mine. I had them cut the auto out, mount with nice picture, not skimp on the hardware. Everyone buys what they like. But yeah it's like that Jennifer Lawrence hunger games auto card. It's worth way more that much of anything else I've seen of her's. Hell I think I've only seen the card twice.
