Any chance he ends up in the hall as a player (not a visitor)? Two WS MVPs, room for more with that team and manager, decent stats and counting.

170 HRs and 32 War going into his age 30 season. I am sure he has a shot that is much greater than Schwarber. Injuries will probably dictate it for him.

Add in ROY and 2 time All Star so far to his current accolades. He looks good with batting average, 32 WAR, and good doubles hitter. I'm going to say probably yes if he keeps doing what he's doing.

What does his WAR say? Apparently that’s the only stat we’re allowed to consider these days.
Putting that aside, I think if he can play at a top level into his late 30’s he’ll have a shot. |

If you asked me to gamble on it, I'd be betting that he will. 2 WS MVP is a much bigger deal than the WAR crowd will ever admit. He also has a huge frame and I expect him to age well. He really just has to get to 60 WAR with the WS heroics.

5 more years like the previous and he's in. If he plays until hes 40 and gets to 400 HRs he is first ballot.

The WS MVPs are nice, but you still have to have the regular season numbers. Sorry, but 11 games (the 2 WS MVPs) is not enough to get you in. |

Yeah, he'll be inducted barring injury.

Hall of Very Good for sure. I think there's too much recency bias in this thread IMHO. He's had one great year and a couple good years, but the rest of his career has been pretty okay. Plus, I'm not convinced he'll stay on the field enough to accumulate

If Scott Rolen and Todd Helton are and are going to be hall of famers, Seager will get in as long as he doesn't completely fall apart.

He'll have two top-3 MVP finishes after this year, two World Series MVPs, and four All-Star appearances. Of course, if he flames out and is hurt half the time of his contract, he won't get in, but he has an eight-year contract, should be doable for him to get to, say, 300 HRs and 2000 hits which I think would do it.

Anyone can rack up regular season numbers. Everyone has that chance. How many can say they've capture TWO WS MVPs? Most valuable player on the team that wins it all? HoF bound.

He has a long ways to go. He has played 9 seasons and really isn't close to HOF yet. His OPS+ of 135 as a SS is really good, but his counting stats of 1019 hits and 543 RBIs are low because he has only 5 seasons of 100+ games. He is going to have to put up a really good back half of his career to do it. If his production declines in his early 30s, no.

And keep his political views private since that can negate postseason heroics.
