Default Luka's going for Kobe's 81 right now

Tune in to see if he gets there....

I'm sure he's going for it

I’m watching. This is some pretty incredible play. He can’t miss and the score is close enough that I bet he plays the entire 4th no matter what, to set records

Overtime would help, not looking likely. Insane game though. 73 as of right now.

I think everyone who has scored over 70 was on the winning team besides Booker. I might be wrong tho

all these scoring explosion made it a bit numbed for me. I remember the old days when someone dropped 40 was a big deal. scoring is just too easy now.

81 points in 2006 is more impressive than 100 points in 1962.

Yep. I remember ultra back in the day having an insert set devoted to players that scored fifty. That set would be 20 cards deep every year now.

I think threads like these are jinxes like when pitchers are throwing a no-hitter and some twit creates a thread posting about it. Glad Luka got 73, the 4th most points ever in a game on the 4th anniversary of losing Kobe. Some symmetry there.

Wilt had it happen 3 times.

David Thompson lost his game when he scored 73

Wilt also lost when scoring... 67 x2, 65, 63 x2 and 62

I will say this is an Atlanta team the Pacers recently blew out by double digits. If it takes Luk heroics to win, the team still gonna need help.

“Hmmm, how can I turn a thread about Luka into a thread about the Pacers and my man crush that no one cares about?”
