Every year of UFC Topps Chrome hobby is well over $500. 2023 Prizm hobby is currently $275. No idea why people thought this was going to be below $200 a box.

you can get champion prizm rc's for less than $2: strickland, hill, jiri, poatan.

This is the question.

Manel Kape and Shara are solid fighters, but not big enough to carry the RC chase. Most of the other guys/gals with a lot of hype were in Panini's 2023 products.

If they get Michael Page in the set, that could be big.

I could see Natalia Silva being a name. Diana Belbita another. Coincidentally they both fight this weekend. Jasmine Jasudavicius. There are a few others that could be decent hunts.

More importantly...who's signing, and how many redemptions will we be looking at?

How much cheaper did you guys think this would be??? lol Chrome is the flagship set like Prizm and that's been around $300 all year and Panini sold for $250. Also you get more parallels per box now. And yes you get 4 less cards per pack but that just means less bulk no one actually wants. Cards look great too imo.

Yes, but none of those guys are real "needle movers" hobby wise (Poatan maybe but I wanna say Prizm came out right after he lost to Adesanya which hurt). Each Prizm set had a pretty hyped rookie whether Khamzat, Paddy or Bo Nickal that all did pretty well especially out the gate. When boxes are expensive and autos aren't even going for a ton (as noted in here) little things like a key rookie can really help even if it recoups $20-30, more if silver/refractor. Looks like Kape is in which is good, MVP would be sick but I doubt it, Harrison coulda been a big one if she didn't have previous cards.

Chrome is gonna be white hot out the gate, just like 2021 prizm ufc. It’s the re-debut.

Exactly... $219.00 is not cheap but not bad. Lots of fans of Chrome as well.

However, I am not expecting Topps of old... as this is a new era.

Sure there are a lot of cheap UFC cards... and there are reasons for that. Finding true rookies (1st release... not rookie year crap) of the top champs/fan favs, are still not cheap. Lots of junk cardboard to wade thru to find the rare gems.
