This one has me absolutely stumped, and I was hoping maybe some of you may have some insight. I have a gentleman who wants to make a trade for this card. I have little information other than what is stated in this link...
https://bowmanchromesociety.blogspot..._AZKBajvU8&m=1 I have only seen one other (the one in the link above), and only 2 have been graded by any company since 2020 (my PSA 9 and one Authentic, both PSA). The trade offer is $300, which I have politely declined. I understand that the smudged auto hurts the eye appeal, but all 1st edition chrome autos I have seen all have smudged autos as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk

That's pretty cool. Definitely more than $300 in trade value.

From Beckett:
Autographs are available in 2020 Bowman 1st Edition Baseball, but they’re tough, landing 1:310 packs. Topps did not provide an autograph checklist, although they cover several parts of the 2020 Bowman checklist. Autographs come with a 1st Edition stamp. It is worth noting that many signatures appear to have some smudging with the ink. From Cardboard Connection: Not on the final checklist. Please let us know if you see any others. REFRACTOR PARALLELS: Refractor #/499, Speckle #/299, Purple #/250, Atomic #/100, Green #/99, Green Shimmer #/99, Yellow #/75, Orange #/25, Orange Shimmer #/25, More TBD. *It is not known how many of each parallel was issued.*

These are unfortunately very difficult to get full value on. There is probably a full run of 25ish per player (a guess based on 2020 draft being /30), but very few people appreciate the rarity (or they understand the rarity, but downplay the premium).
In my opinion, should be a 4 figure card easily. But I don't know if there are more than a couple people that would pay that price. |

Based upon the Platinum odds of 1:1,375 packs, and 150 cards, there would be a total of 260,250 packs. (8,594 boxes)
With autos falling 1:310 packs, there would be a total of 839 autos. With an auto checklist of 48 names, and assuming they were all equally distributed, there would be 17.5 autos of each player. Hope my math is right. I pulled a blue Canaan Smith and fortunately the auto was perfect. No smearing at all. |
