well, he has a big arm. can move around a bit and has the traditional body type you want in a QB. He has the raw tools Mac lacked. now we see if he can put it together and be an NFL quarterback.

Automatically the best arm on a quarterback on the roster since Brady retired. He's not a finished product, but better than what we've had. I like the mobility and the big arm. So often guys were having to slow down their routes or come back to the ball. Playing at UNC he's used to not having a clean pocket too.

I like his mobility but that he is always pass first.

He's also used to playing with no talent around him so he should feel at home on the Pats. I've been listening to Bill Simmons gush about him for weeks. He's apparently the second coming of Josh Allen and is going to He also keeps saying that he'll be 245 lbs in the NFL because he's not filled out yet which seem like a stupid take. He's a 21 year old elite athlete and 223 lbs now so I think he's probably maxed out unless he lets himself go and gets fat. I definitely don't see him as a guy who's going to be trucking LBs and safetys in the open field. I've also heard some people refer to him as a big play hunter which translates to throwing a lot of INTs in the NFL. He definitely seems like he has more raw talent then Mac but you could say that about 90% of QBs. QBs are all a crap shoot so I'll just hope for the best. I'm much more interested to see how the rest of the draft goes because they need to fill a lot more holes then QB.

Drake Maye-nia is running wild in New England after this week's game. My expectations about his playing time this year is still very tempered but a lot of media is already calling for him to be starting week 1. The team probably isn't going to be good either way but the economics might force the Pats to play him sooner then later. Pats fans have had to watch bottom of the barell QB play for two years in a row and another full season of that may start to turn off too many fans. At least Maye has flashed an exciting skill set that could make losing more entertaining
