Default PSA's new shipping address?

I was typing in a new submission for PSA on their site and when I printed off the forms...it still says to send my cards to the New Port Beach address if using USPS...but yet I got an e-mail last week saying that all card submissions need to go to the Santa Ana address! I'm confused...I thought the e-mail was sayng that all card orders need to go to Santa Ana for the time being even if you use USPS? What am I missing?

I sent some out on Tuesday to the old address via USPS and they were accepted yesterday.

In the PSA thread there were several people including myself that sent it to the new address in the email and it arrived fine. Did reach out to PSA as well and they said to continue to shipping it to the address on the submission for USPS.

When you said you reached out to PSA and they said to continue shipping it to the address on the submission for USPS...are you meaning the New Port Beach address?

It says to send Fedex to new address. USPS still goes to the post office box. Seemed to be ok last week for 2 submissions.

Not sure why they haven't updated their Ship Guide page:

https://www.psacard.com/info/shipguide

But at the very bottom, in small print, it says effective April 24, 2024, PSA Operations for Cards, Tickets, Packs and Autographs have relocated to 1600 E. St. Andrew Pl. Santa Ana, California 92705.

So I sent the May special to:

CU Receiving
1600 E. St Andrew PI.
Santa Ana, CA 92705

And it was received and logged into their system today. So all good shipping to the new address.

The update was really just meant for packages sent other than USPS. The small print is really just meant for people who qualified to send to the old address to send to the new address, not for people using USPS.

I'm sure it is a Logistical/operational issue with the sheer volume of submissions that come via USPS, that it is hard for USPS to deliver them all to Santa Ana, thus they go to a mail center in Newport and PSA picks them up. As an aside, I guess the ebay authentication guarantee volume is not too great, as the USPS labels that print out for that go to Santa Ana...

The PSA announcement email didn't specify that so I sent my order USPS to the new address as they requested and it was fine.

Here's the email I received announcing the address change:

Looks like they want all orders sent to the new address....at least from this announcement. *shrug*

The E St. Andrews Pl address is PSA headquarters. Guessing they previously had USPS stuff sent to Newport Beach before PSA did their big expansion. There's no point now to send to an alternate location and having someone drive there to pick the stuff up. Now everything is going directly to headquarters.

Just received an email update today, with PSA changing what they said previously:

That's the latest info currently, until next week when they change the USPS address request again.
