In for a Jumbo, went all-in on Fanatics Blasters for series 1. I was disappointed, sure the aquas were nice but very little numbered cards given the number of boxes I opened. I would have probably been better served to buy a couple hobby boxes or a few Megas. I like am sucker for the 89's

None of the promotional images show Wyatt Langford, Jackson Chourio, or any of the other opening day call ups. I wonder if those guys show up as autograph only.

Update should be stacked.

Will a case of jumbos still yield a master set, or do you need two?

I've never done a pre-order, are prices any lower or are they the same at release?

Series 1 Jumbos are $20 higher than Series 1. Meh. Doesn't seem like a good value.
May be smart to go with regular hobby.

I'm in for 1 Jumbo and 1 Hobby. Hopefully that is enough for a complete set.

Thanks, I figured but wasn't sure. I might pre-order this time. I did all retail (and Fanatics boxes) for Series 1 and spent WAY too much chasing two complete sets.

If you were to buy it this would probably be the best time until black friday

Why not just buy the complete sets when they release?

Yamamoto and Imanaga aren't enough to carry this. Last years Series 2 Jumbos with Carroll/Volpe/Jung/Walker got under $100 eventually.

Even if they had Chourio/Holliday it's not like they're lighting up the world right now.

Took over 5 cases and buying singles on eBay

It was a nightmare

Yeah could be SP but they haven't done anything like that for flagship since they switched to the golden mirror SPs right?

"Which box is best for you?"

No box. Yeah, no box is best for me. Sounds right. Thanks for asking Topps....

For me, I like ripping.

I make a set and then sell off any hits I happen to get. Sometimes I make a little extra. Sometimes I break even and then others, I end up a little down.

I don't mind being a little down in exchange for having a complete set plus the enjoyment of ripping.
