Perfect scale replication of Nomad's shrine.
Just missing the body of Lord Kneesmiff duct taped and ball-gagged perched atop an Ikea throne.

All my cards in storage bro.
I am not sentimentally attached, although I do count golds like sheep when trying to sleep. |

Seriously though, if I did have a setup for high end cards it would feature alcove lights, glass display, mojo pattern pillows, and be attached to a wine bar and jacuzzi. A formica and aluminum-ceiling mancave in a former root cellar not my thing.
We talking a two-time ECF participant and former Jaylen Brown teammate, not a superstar in the G-League Ignite.

If this is the de facto Pacers thread, Johnny Furphy seems like a decent fit. Representing Australia.
Pacers again snagged a nice second rounder who has speed and length, and was expected to go in the late first round. |

Im not really that kind of fan. I like to write about the team, watch tape. I like the Nesmith collection in its relative simplicity. Helps me have a coherent briefcase of rare cards. I think that's what you need not to get rebuffed or on the wrong end of deals at shows.
Right at this moment I'm proud to say that that briefcase has more short term potential than 99 percent of similar player collections. The 9.5 point odds in favor of OKC game 1 says it all. Downward potential mitigated by the fact that the cards still haven't risen that high. Who else is in that sweet 1 percent of value x short-term potential? Still on the upward ascent phase of their career and set to have some shine on basketball's biggest stage. Nembhard, Mathurin. Maybe Chetnik? Not sure his prices. On a more subdued tier, Siakam, Myles, and TJ probably have historically low prices that will go up, whatever happens. Last edited by Nomad; 06-03-2025 at 02:43 PM. |
