Superfractor question

This is a serious question. How many 1/1 superfractors do you think a player has across the various Topps sets per year? 5? 10? At what point does a 1/1 really become a 1/30?

It's like anything else in life:

A degree in Biology from Harvard is better than a degree in Biology from East Tennessee State...

...just like a 1/1 in Topps Chrome is better than a 1/1 in Topps Elite Extra Edition.

In other words, all 1 of 1's are not created equal. JMO.

Over 50 1/1 not all necessarily superfractors.

So, I super collect Shane McClanahan and I’d say he has around 5 per year. 2021 was his rookie year and he probably has 12 that year. I’d say most players will have double or more their rookie year.

I think you could double those numbers for a star hitter.

Just gotta do your research on the different iterations of Chrome and Finest sets Topps releases to get the closest number. Topps does release them in sets like Transendent and I believe Silver packs/National releases as well.

Mike Trout had 91 1/1s listed on TCDB for 2023 releases.

18 are listed as Superfractors

Those are just base card parallels though. He has 8 different Supers in 2023 Topps Chrome alone.

Then add Flagship and silver packs, Chrome Update, Sapphire, Cosmic, Black, Gilded, Transcendent, Bowman, Bowman Chrome, Bowman’s Best, Bowman Heritage, Logofractor, Ginter Chrome, Pristine, and Stadium Club. Anything else I’m missing that has a super in it?
