EQL drop tomorrow on Topps UK and the other Euro sites. Guesses on price?

Initial design looks pretty good.

I’m assuming there’s been no word about a drop on the US site? I don’t think it has ever dropped there.

Crazy price point now, up from £100, then £125, and now £165. But I’m sure these will still be very popular.

165 pounds so $200. 7 cards for $200.
5 worth $1 each, fingers crossed for the 6th and 7th.
Probably averaging $40 value per box.

Once again, so far wide of the mark with what the market needs and wants. Saturation has been reached.

They have their little disclaimer about 'not the same amount for each player auto'. I have had major issues with Topps on this very issue over the past few years.

Yeah not sure it’s even worth playing the eql and flip game. After tax and shipping, we’d need a flip of over $300 to even be worth it. If could get several, maybe I’d flip most and rip 1 or something like that. Flip rate could be decent, looking at how prior years are still doing and plus Yamal. Seems like a low risk option as these would never drop below original price. I may talk myself into it after all!

Well looks like the first on-card Yamal auto is finally hitting. Most of the other on-card signees have already dropped autos. That Yamal will go for BIG bucks on release.

On card autos would make this product great, but are you sure there are live autos in this? All the autos on the sell sheet appear to be sticker:

Someone opening these early on Whatnot, they pulled an auto /400 (Forson). I hope it's just putting a number on base autos (in which case I'd rather they were just unnumbered) and we don't get things like /200, /300 added too.

edit: just seen a second box with the parallels /125 and /150 and the auto /400, oof

That’s terrible. Glad I passed. Fanatics continue to miss the mark and push normal folks to the periphery of the hobby.
