2020 stadium club chrome wave set

Who out there is building this set? Lately I have been loosing auctions badly with some pretty high bids on stuff that should not go for more than a few dollars.

I’m interested so show what you got if you’re working on it. I have held back but will return the favor if I see some.

At first I chocked it up to player builders but this is getting crazy. If you are building the set pm me because I have the nuts and am willing to move at the right price. I keep saying I’m done but this is getting crazy. Guess that’s what I get for going for the almost impossible.

I missed out on the only Bo Bichette one I have seen, I have yet to see a Vlady or Harper !

I've got one of the other Bichette waves. Saw a guy post on Reddit that he'd found it in the bargain box at an LCS. Turned out he was local to me so I jumped on it as I'd never seen another one. I believe there are 12.

I’m pretty happy there is some love for the set. Took some pics of the waves. Haven’t had time to sort and there are a few extras (soto 10, bichette 10, cease 10) missing from the shots

For those that have posted, this seems to be the last set with premium stock cards. The refractors and the xfractors are really nice. You can’t get cards like that any more. I’m pretty much complete on both the x and the refractor set as well.

That's amazing! There are so many great horizontal cards in that set. The Ohtani might be my favorite of all Ohtani cards. I tried to buy an Ohtani wave for $700 a few years ago, but the seller declined. I regret not just paying their asking price.

Do you have Austin Riley in there? That's another one of my favorite cards from that set.

Man, such a brutal set. I dont see a Riley wave. And missed that one. I do have a couple autos though.

I've seen the Ohtani wave sell for $20 on eBay - was so pissed I missed it.

I'm not building the set, but I do keep an eye out for them. There's a guy in Vegas working on the set who I've sold a handful to. I've opened a lot of 2020 Stadium Club Chrome but only pulled 1 wave refractor myself. I've probably bought/sold another dozen or so - all of them mislabeled or not listed as being a wave refractor.

Someone's been buying up the high priced blasters on eBay as well. There have been some in the $50-65 range sitting on eBay for years that have started selling in the past couple of months.

I think I'm down to my last 2 waves - got a Willson Contreras and Josh Rojas somewhere.

I've been looking for Ohtani and Judge for what feels like forever.

I've got some sealed 2020 Stadium Club Chrome coming my way for a weekend rip so maybe I'll get lucky again.

I just got the 2021 Yordan wave a few weeks ago to complete a rainbow. Had to check ebay every day for over a year.

Going for waves takes alot of patience!

That's an impressive horde of 2020 Wave Refractors!

I pick up the Wave Refractors from all years when I see them cheap. My best 2020s are Matsui,Canseco and Nomar. I'm passively working on the Wave inserts from 2022 SCC.
