I never like seeing manufactured patches (swatches in this case). The examples on the sell sheet are a piece of tire from the Mystery Machine, a piece of Velma's sweater, and a piece from Scrappy-Doo's collar. There are also Diamond Relics that are presumably manufactured and not real diamonds.

I think it was Jason Crosby that had a thread here years ago of sketch cards of various Scooby villains. This could be a fun set for the older crowd that is sitting on a ton of cash.

Default 2025 Upper Deck Fleer Scooby-Doo

Agree on the manufactured relics, it’s cheesy…what can you do I guess since it’s a cartoon and no real relics. Maybe animation cels?

I don’t see PMGs in this, maybe UD is taking the hint not to overload those. The lenticular “whodunnit” will probably be kinda funny where you tilt the card and the mask comes off. Smart way to use the card tech.

So this is “Fleer Scooby Doo” instead of only “Upper Deck Scooby Doo”. It just occurred to me the sheer number of sets that UD uses the name Fleer or Skybox name for…seems like almost all of them? What does that say about Upper Deck that they are using another company’s name (from the 90s)…apparently that other company had cards people like the most. I guess I remember 1 set recently that did use retro UD collectors choice design, but seems like almost everything is Fleer, which says a lot.

Should of had sketches in this set for sure, especially at that price point.

Scooby was my favorite cartoon when I was really little. Personally I would rather see a GI Joe set (with sketches) though.

Can't compare to Inkworks hobby content from years ago.

This proves that we will never see a $79.99 hobby box of non-sports cards again. If anything should be priced under $100 this is it.

There should be auto cards too of the current voice actors.

I have a nice collection of original cast autos from the last Scooby Doo set to include them (2003 Inkworks).

Susan Blu – Flim Flam
Tim Conway
Nicole (Jaffe) David – Velma Dinkley
Casey Kasem – Shaggy
Heather (North) Kenney – Daphne Blake
Frank Welker – Fred Jones, Scooby-Doo

I'm not going to lie when or if this hits epack and the price is not too high I'm buying... I don't know if single card value wise it will be a good buy but for stuff for my own collection I'm in.

You would have to move the decimal point to the left for me to buy this. There doesn't appear to be anything of value in this product.

I agree about the price point, way too much for what you're getting. I also hate that you're only getting the same library of classic series images that Warner Brothers would license for branded toasters. What I'd really want from a Scooby set (besides autos, which I can acknowledge are difficult and expensive) is imagery from ALL the series, especially Mystery Incorporated. That's never going to happen, though, because WB is a basket case, especially when it comes to animation.

Looking for autos/relics of cartoon voice actors - one role as confirmed on IMDb is enough to qualify.

Nice collection! That’s a Scooby Doo set done right, with hits and not relying on parallels/gimmicks.

I must be too young to have known Casey Kasem did Shaggy lol I've heard of him but it was for his radio work.

I'm a huge Scooby Doo fan and it's disappointing they're only doing 90's version as he's been around a lot longer than that. I'll probably end up doing some anyway just because I like Scoobs.

This is another mish-mash if inserts. I see Metal Universe, I see EX Essential Credentials, I see Z-Force. I'm actually surprised this is not a Fleer Ultra brand so they could have given us Medallions, too.

I have no attachment to the 90s version (I'm older than that), but this may be worth picking up a base set on eBay for $10 once it hits. And like someone said, the Lenticulars could be interesting.

Thanks!
Casey was also the voice of Robin the Boy Wonder for our generation on the 70's & 80's "Super Friends" cartoon show, but I'll always love him best for his Top 40 countdown show.
I listened to that religiously as a kid.

Here are some more Scooby sketches I have:

NOTE: The card that is a hybrid of Leela from "Futurama" and Peggy Bundy from "Married With Children" is not pack-pulled, but rather was a custom exclusive from the Inkworks booth at the 2007 Comic-Con, drawn by Mark Dos Santos and shortly after, autographed by Katey Sagal herself.

Here's an animated card showoff thread I've tried a few times to get going. There are some nice Simpsons cards shown in here, made by Inkworks, around the same time as the Scooby Mysteries and Monsters set the sketches and autographs came from.

Supposed to come out next Wednesday. Maybe I’m horrible on IP popularity but guessing this does worse than Looney Tunes.

Manufactured relics as hits yuck lol
