5 Boxes of Upper Deck Thor: Love and Thunder and some old MCU boxes...

I got five boxes of Thor: Love and Thunder for Black Friday. I opened those last night. I had an itch to open some more so I open almost all my older MCU boxes(Thor 1, Dark World, Avengers 1, 2, 4..) I've stashed this year.

Before I break anything else open today.. thought I'd share some box results and some older case results including Thor Love and Thunder, Eternals, ShangChi, and Marvel Studios cases... stay tuned!

First five boxes... I should of stopped after box one. I technically beat the odds hitting one auto from five boxes.




Duplicate auto I already hit in two cases I opened earlier in year... here are top hits from two full cases I bought for roughly $800 each several months ago...




All the white spots on this card are the poor QC from Upper Deck.


Sadly, I don't think we will see this ever hit Upper Deck ePack. I assume half print run won't see light of day. I was looking forward to trying to pick up a Portman auto from COMC.

I did hit seven # parallels in five boxes. Also, I hit more than one # parallel per box on average for cases.

The lack of effort with some of this signatures is appalling. I'm sure signing your name on sheets of stickers isn't fun but come on Taika Waititi, at least cross the T in your first initial.

I've been picking up random sealed boxes of older MCU boxes.

I started with four Avengers Endgame boxes. First two boxes were shadow boxes for box hit...




I grabbed two more off the shelf and got couple sketches. I miss pulling sketches from MCU products...
Left is by Mai Irving sketch which I'm happy to pull. Have couple of hers from Endgame and Spider-man Far From Home. Anyone know who character is though?

Right sketch is by Phillip Bergquist. Awesome Wong sketch. The energy circles are really detailed and pop in hand.

It is confusing his auto is so different between Marvel MCU products and Star Wars.

Also, Jaimie Alexander auto must of recently changed. It was little fuller in Thor Dark World sets. This is my Allure auto I have on COMC to mail home:

Three boxes of Captain America Civil War. Similar to sketches.. I miss pulling costume relics. Sebastian stan's relic in dual relics is worn and Evans for street clothes in dual with Sebastian is worn.



Big bummer was that one box had two /100 parallels which took place for auto/sketch or rare #'d.

One box of Thor Dark World. I really love this product, but it so hard to find it. I got super lucky to pull an auto. I need just few more costume relics to complete set. I missed on hitting one of those but happy to add some extras into collection.

One box of Avengers Assemble. I believe this is my second box of Avengers Assemble which is true for Age of Ultron above. Very hard boxes to find.

Doctor Strange I opened some boxes finally from LCS last month... not full case but I think it was 8-9 boxes off their shelf.

Love pulling plate auto. Second one I've pulled myself now.

Loved looking at all your hits. I only have opened Marvel boxes when on sale and a box here or there. Was in a 2018 Black Panther break and to date I sold the Black Panther sketch but still have two of the costume cards and are graded. Those are really expensive boxes now $475-500.

Thanks for sharing! Nice autos you pulled. I think the autos from the actual sets look so much better than the Marvel Studios series.
