We do Christmas Eve with my in laws
We do Christmas morning with the kids
We do Christmas lunch with my parents

We go to Dave and Busters, which at least locally opens at 4:00, and get drunk and let the kids run around while we watch football and basketball. Last year it was 4 families

Drinks and appetizers. Let’s do this

It’s my favorite day

Spending all day with family is lame. I also have to work on the 26th

You can do both

Christmas Eve is usually lasagna.

Christmas Day is usually the same spread as Thanksgiving. Turkey breast, ham, a roast, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, macaroni & cheese, corn casserole, yams, and cranberry sauce. Thankfully, two of the SDs are helping make food this year so my wife gets a little break.

That sounds nice and easy. Might go this route as well.

Going to try and replicate what my Nanny Rose God rest her soul used to make when I was in my teens, won’t have to make as much as there will only be about 8 of us antipasto to start off, marinated broccoli, slabs of Mozzarella, cheese and pepperoni slices. The dinner will be fried shrimp, lasagna and meatballs and Italian sausage. I would love to be able to go to an Italian bakery for the dessert of Cannoli’s and Rum Bobka’s and other Italian pastries but that’s not happening in Mississippi so probably just Strawberry cheesecake and pecan pie.

You stole one of Hairy’s poll ideas. Hopefully he has a good one (for once) for 12/31.

We're either going to an Italian or Chinese place for Christmas Eve.

Christmas Day, my wife is making breakfast/brunch including Eggs Benedict.

Dinner is going to be a ham or roast.

Either movie theater food because we usually go to the movies and if not probably something from Omaha Steaks that we have in the freezer. Not sure what we are having for Christmas Eve I will be at church until 6 and then I’ll spend time with my sister and my nieces. I plan on making a raspberry white chocolate pie

I haven't been to a Jack in the Box since I was a kid and they were run out of New Jersey. Still remember the over 700 people sickened and 4 children killed by the burgers in 1993.

I appreciate the attempt at comedy here but you gotta spend more time on the material. It’s ok, they can’t all be winners.

Nah, she used to hate them, but depending on her mood, she's up for a good trunk burrito now and again.

i was alive for the Jack fiasco too! you’re way better off not eating fast food obviously, i commend you for the will power. if i wasn’t incredibly lazy i’d learn to cook and use a crockpot, but alas i tend to choose convenience over prep.
