No one cares about any time except EST. Go get a polar pop while you wait on Hairy's pole.

I’ll make a bold statement and stand behind it. If Barkley plays to get the rushing record the Giants will stack 8 guys on the line to make sure he doesn’t break the record against them. They may lose 50-0 but Barkley will get 37 yards in the first half.

Possibly. The problem is that if you play Barkley you have to play your OL starters (can't put him behind a bunch of backups), seems like too much risk for a personal record. Barkley seems easy going and I could see him being fine with not playing. He got his 2,000 yards.

Someone mentioned that he sat the 4Q earlier this year instead of attempting to break the game record at Metlife. Doesn't seem like he's a records guy, but a team guy.

No way dude. Any game with the Patcheats is the doodoo game of the week, especially if they sit Maye.

If Barkley hadn't gone over 2000 yards this past week, he plays this week, gets it and goes out...

If he plays this week, he could lose yardage and go under 2k (doubtful), he could get hurt and/or he could break Dickerson's record...

But then he's gotta deal with all the people saying he needed more games than Dickerson and there should be an *** next to it and blah blah blah...

Not worth it in my eyes, sit out and go for the Super Bowl...

Then you got Josh Allen who's gonna start a meaningless game on Sunday just so he can keep his "start streak" alive and then go sit on the bench...

He sat the 4th at MetLife Week 7 when he was 14 yards from breaking his then single game rushing record, telling the coaches to play the younger RBs as they were up 28-3. They asked him if he was sure - didn't he want to set his single-game high against his former team, and he said nah.

The Eagles also called a timeout with approximately 11:00 left in the 4th against the Cowboys this past week to pull him out and let the crowd give him an ovation for hitting 2k yards.

He also hasn't ever complained once that Hurts has like 10 TDs from the 1 yard line this year, that would usually be the RBs.

Actions speak louder than words, and his actions are those of a humble, likeable guy who puts the team first and personal accolades second. I think he's content and will likely rest.

I can foresee the first-team offense playing one, maybe two series' in the game because Jalen has been out for two weeks, just to get in sync for the playoffs, so while that may involve a few runs, it'll mostly be passes I'd imagine, then it'll be turned over to Pickett or McKee and the second units.

That's my guess - I know nothing more than anyone else here. Just my guess.

Playoff Scenarios (That I'm Aware Of):

NFC
1. If DET wins or ties, they get NFC 1st seed, MIN gets NFC 5th seed.
2. If MIN wins, they get NFC 1st seed, DET gets NFC 5th seed.
3. Atlanta clinches NFC South division title with:
ATL win + TB loss
4. Tampa Bay clinches NFC South division title with:
TB win or tie
ATL loss or tie
5. Commanders are current NFC 6th seed, Packers NFC 7th seed. Both are 11-5, but Commanders win tiebreaker with a higher win % against conference opponents. Commanders and Packers can swap seeds 6/7 with:
Packers win v. Bears + Commanders loss or tie @ Cowboys

6th seed plays @ LA Rams, 7th seed plays @ PHI Eagles.

AFC
1. Baltimore clinches AFC North and AFC 3rd seed with:
BAL win or tie
PIT loss or tie
2. Pittsburgh clinches AFC North and AFC 3rd seed with:
PIT win + BAL loss
3. Cincinnati clinches a playoff berth with:
CIN win + DEN loss + MIA loss or tie
4. Denver clinches a playoff berth with:
DEN win or tie
MIA loss or tie + CIN loss or tie
5. Miami clinches a playoff berth with:
MIA win + DEN loss

Don't want to jinx the Bucs but when they're hot they can beat anyone. I believe they will be the NFC South Champions, and let me tell you, Lions and Vikings fans might not want to admit it, but neither of those teams want to go play a road game in Tampa Bay to start the playoffs. The Bucs are too unpredictable.

Week 15 - Put up 506 yards of offense and beat the Chargers 40-17, each team turning the ball over twice.
Week 16 - Put up 410 yards of offense on the Cowboys but lose 26-24, turning it over twice while Dallas had no turnovers.
Week 17 - Put up 551 yards of offense and beat the Panthers 48-14, in a turnover-free game from both sides.

It should also be noted they defeated Philadelphia, Washington, Detroit on the road, and almost defeated Kansas City on the road in overtime.

The real thing we need is a fantasy tracker for who is and is not playing, plus a list of guys who could put up big points while everyone rests… this must exist somewhere for us prop bettors

Based on that scenario post I had above, teams that have incentives to win:

DET
MIN
BAL
PIT
DEN
CIN
MIA
TB
ATL

If they care about their first round opponent, then add:

WASH
GB

Guessing both GB and WASH would rather go play indoors v. LA where their fans can take over half the stadium than to go to Philadelphia, but I could be wrong.

KC will either play Patty one series or not at all. I guess we’ll see what Wentz has left in the tank. He should be comfortable throwing to the second team. Kelse and Jones absolutely resting these two weeks
