Topps Now WWE

With Topps officially announcing WWE cards does that mean Topps Now cards are back immediately? Was a big fan before they lost the license and Topps Now is far more popular now than it was in the late 2010s. Would think we should see some for the first RAW on Netflix.

Topps Slam (their digital card imprint) is returning so I don't see why Topps Now wouldn't. I don't remember people talking about UFC Topps Now cards dropping before UFC Chrome but I could be wrong and that would be a good indication. I don't think they'll have them for next week's Netflix debut but I've been wrong.

The smartest move Topps ever made was how they now sell Topps Now cards. Countless millions of dollars more profit versus a year ago. They are able to trick everyone like this into thinking you have a shot at the lottery. Even if you hit, it's not the lottery. If there is that big monster well into the 6 figures card, you will not hit it. Whatever happened to the Curry, Lebron, Steph 1/1 auto? Just never showed up anywhere, right?

Yeah sure. Clearly worth double a Lebron game used logoman 1/1 that sold a month ago. What would the Dwayne Johnson Steve Austin Leaf dual auto 1/1 sell for if auctioned before The Rock Topps Chrome autos were announced? 2-3% of what you are claiming The Rock Roman auto is worth? I'm sure it'll be like all the fake bounties that never get paid out.

Based on the sales history I can see no WWE card has ever sold for more than $25k besides for the 1st year Rock Prizm 1/1. Even the 2nd year Rock Prizm 1/1 sold for less than $20k

If you think a non pack pulled Roman adds anything to this card think again. Roman National Treasures Blockchain physical card auto 1/1 sold for like $1,250 recently.

I doubt this Topps Now dual auto will be in hand before WWE Topps Chrome comes out. If the Topps Now dual is worth $100k what is The Rock Topps Chrome Superfractor auto 1/1? A billion dollars?

This with be an anomaly because it’ll be purchased by a an outsider of the hobby. The new Netflix deal has pushed the WWE product more global than it already is.

This piece will be more symbolic to a new age in WWE than just a “wwe product hit”. Look for a high profile executive or a celebrity DJ to push this grail towards $250k. If they wait to Wrestlemania weekend it could get plenty of celebrities in the bidding war and land closer to $400k. Again don’t use comps because this isn’t a trading card, it’s a new beginning.

If the "card clout" isn't over I could see the value being inflated because it is a celebrity or exec wanting some media coverage. Seeing guys like Drake casually post their guaranteed loss Stake bets shows me a couple hundred thousand is nothing to these people, how many have private jets? The thing is I don't know if card clout is still a thing, when was the last big celebrity rip with some large dealer? The last major media attention I remember is Post Malone with the One Ring. If it's not gonna be a status symbol and really just goes to a wrestling collector unless someone REALLY beleives in its future potential I lean into moss more pessimistic value view lol

Wrestlemania is in Vegas this year April 19-20, this card, especially if Rock and Roman face off in the main event will garner money that won’t make sense to most outside the WWE Universe.
