Default Liquid silver and liquid gold

I’ll take both.

I always viewed sports cards as jewelry for men. So having this new innovation in sports cards is exciting to me. I think this will do wonders for the hobby.

Excited or indifferent? What does BO think of this?

Honestly, this is the type of innovation we should have been seeing for years. As a 90s collector, I love the various printing techniques companies were coming up with to compete for collectors' attention. Then they all got lazy in the 2000s and kept doing the same stuff. That laziness has continued and now all we get are different colored refractors and the same old refractor patterns. This has me excited that Topps is trying this sort of thing. Even if it flops, it's a good sign.

I hear ya. I started collecting in 1988. 89 Upper Deck was considered the new age sports card set. We’ve come a long way from that to what we have now and while I do think we have had some good refractor sets in the 2000s, I’m always down for innovation to make cards more attractive.

Still not keen on diamond icons as a set but I hope it does well so we can get this card finish in other sets.

I am trying to keep my focus on buying PC cards from their playing days, but if they end up making Frank Thomas versions, I am probably a buyer.

Reminds me a little bit of 1997 Fleer Diamond Tribute. If we can get some sets like that I'll be happy.

I like them. They will probably look even better in hand, like the Chrome Black Depth of Darkness did (which was also a nice addition)

Looks cool....but will probably be released at $1000 for a 1-card, 1-pack box, and 80% of the checklist will be relief pitchers....

I’m all for innovating with new tech. Something different than just a new colored border.

In the 90s chrome was one of the biggest innovations- originating if I’m not mistaken from a sign and glass company- and this sort of seems like that kind of thing, a new material for a card.

9 AUTOS/ $3300 per box ( I think that’s MSRP ) — too rich for my blood, but it looks like a potential winner.

Look cool. Interested to see in hand.

But considering the cost of the product they're coming out of, they're gonna be a bit expensive out the gate.

Fanatics is obsessed with boosting the cost of everything.

Looks like Upper Deck Hockey's Outburst parallels. One per "flagship" hobby box, so not prohibitively expensive to manufacture.

They should limit the player checklist to world series winners only, past or present. No Yankees losers without rings.

If you’re going to promote your new 3D technology, it’s probably best to wait until you have a live version to demonstrate.
