Whatnot removes ability to view past shows

Anyone else notice that WhatNot has removed the ability to view past shows? This should be huge considering buyers can no longer view what they paid for

On the app, they usually have a video clip with the receipt so you can see what was paid for.

All past shows or past shows of a certain date? If there are no replays, that is an absurd business-killing move. If after 30 days or so, no biggie. I've avoided Whatnot until now and this won't be what gets me to check it out though so not sure which.

They are claiming it's to speed up load time for vids,

100% so people can't call them out on the crap that happens on their livestreams.

It is almost as they may have something (or someone's) to hide. And given the last 3 to 4 months, maybe they do. At this point if you are spending serious money on these breaks and you are not there then you are asking to be scammed. There used to be programs that would record any video shown on your laptop. Don't know if they have that on phone

So you have to go to a different platform to view it in the hopes the breaker uploaded it somewhere else? I already disliked my group break experience there. I had to skim through a 4 hour long video in an attempt to find my break. It sucked and I havent been back

I was wondering if I was going crazy this weekend. I usually like to pull up past shows of celebrity signings on there as background noise and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how I watched previous shows.

Did they actually remove the ability? or is the system glitching? They don't always show on a page, sometimes you need to refresh a few times. Its also a seller option, they may have selected to hide them for one reason or another (I used to stream, had some pretty bad/slow shows that I did hide after the transactions were completed).

Also should not impact the Buyers Video Receipts at all (just checked and mine still work)

Looks like I can see my own past shows as a seller but not others’ anymore. It was already on option for sellers to make their past shows hidden but now it looks to be the standard for all. I liked using them just to see the view count on others’ past shows but oh well.
As mentioned above the video receipts for all orders are still available which I appreciate being able to see without having to scroll through the whole show. So no they are not removing the ability to see what you paid for.
