We've all built our collections in different ways. Some buy singles, some buy into breaks, others rip by the case. I've done all of the above!
My PC is pretty large, but I also have boxes and boxes of common autos, color, rc's, etc. that have been top loaded. I've been trying to free up space and do some downsizing. I sold 99% of the commons in bulk on eBay about a year and a half ago, but I still need more space. For example: I have well over a thousand common autos that would sell for a dollar if I listed individually. I don't have time to do that. I've thought of COMC, just making lots, or even creating a high value repack with the better stuff. I know blowout used to offer credit for them, I don't know if they still do or not. It's a hobby for me, not profit driven, but I still think that moving stuff can be fun. Putting together lots is part of the fun. Someone convince me to do something. This is not an offer for sale, and any PMs about it will be ignored and blocked. I'm just curious what fun ideas you have tried. What is the best balance of fun and return? Thought it could be a good discussion and give me an idea or motivation.

So list them in lots of 50.
Open auction 10 day start bid at 50.00 A manageable size 20 lots and you are done If you just want to liquidate Fwiw |

Set up at a card show and put them in a $1 box.

That’s a very good price. I have a $2 box in my shop, and also have a standing offer with a fellow dealer for $1.25 in trade when he comes to dig through it. These are also fodder for my previously discussed eBay medium flat rate boxes. |

Some antique malls will let you rent a single shelf. Many auto cards that don't sell for $1 online will sell for $2-3 in an antique store for people who want cards from their favorite team, college, or just for the memories of those players. Otherwise COMC is good for these types of cards, as long as you do the small legwork of confirming there aren't already 12 of these cards priced at a buck apiece.

Find a high volume card shop and sell them for $2 a piece across the board. I do that regularly and have three shops lined up that message asking if I have anything because they know they make their money and have the means to do so (where I do not).

I sold a 281 card auto/relic lot on FB Marketplace for $800 cash.
If I wanted to do the grunt work I probably could have grossed 1500-1800 Was well worth it to me to move

I’ve been trading them, it’s slow but I can pick and choose the cards that I want. It’s usually low end team or player inserts.

I second COMC… just box them up and submit them under the 50 cent option that takes a few months to process. Then you can use the credit to buy stuff you want or use the credit to slab stuff or offset the cost of future submissions.

MJ Holdings would put them in mystery boxes as the 1:5 box "hit"

I include them as "surprise" gifts with sales/trades, or give them to neighborhood kids.
