Hey friends, I am wanting to get a couple RC's of Michkov. In you opinion which would be the top 3 to 5 key/must haves for collectors? (1 of 1's excluded) Appreciate you sharing of your time and knowledge as always.

1. Young Guns, probably some parallel as the base is overproduced
2. SPA Future Watch auto 3. Cup /99 If its in your budget 4. OPC Platinum Auto, pick your favorite color that fits your budget 5. Ultimate auto patch /99 |

It’s funny to me how people will try to pump canvas YG’s as more rare and thus better but whenever there’s a question like this the answer is still always the tried and true reg YG which is why I don’t jump on the canvas train lol
Above list is good but it also depends what you’re budget is, like if you can’t afford those mag swap in a premier RPA or something |

If I'm doing a player PC again, I'm after the following:
1. YG Exclusives or Acetate. Exclusives are my favourite parallel to get and acetate YGs have great eye appeal. If I can't get an exclusives or acetate YG, I'm getting a Black and White Canvas YGs or Deluxe. 2. Future Watch Auto or Ultimate Rookies /99. Get an inscribed FWA if that's your thing, but for me the inscribed FWAs aren't very appealing so I avoid them. Alternatively, get an Ultimate Rookies /99 - hard signed auto just like the FWA but usually for a lot cheaper. Personally, they're my go to for a hard signed rookie auto. 3. ICE Premieres /99. Michkov will get one as he's one of the chase rookies. These have fallen off a ton as they're not as sought after anymore and the price tag reflects that. However, brand lineage appeals to me so I'd want one in my PC. 4. OPC Platinum parallel, non-auto: Any of the Emerald Surge/Orange Checkers/Seismic Golds would be phenomenal cards. If outside your budget, Red Prizm or even the Rainbow parallel are great cards, Rainbows look great in hand. Personally, I prefer the non-auto OPCP cards but if you prefer autos, get the auto'd version instead. 5. Cup RPA: As far as rookies go, can't go wrong with a Cup RPA, most expensive product, the pinnacle of the hobby and all that. If you can afford it, I'd buy one. His Exquisite or Premier RPA are great cheaper alternatives - Premier in particular is incredibly affordable relative to what it offers. Exquisite RPAs are my preference if the design is good. Those are my five: some sort of YG, a hard signed auto, ICE premieres /99, something from OPCP, and an RPA. Get a little bit of everything this way. |

I still prefer the YGC because I think they do a much better job when it comes to picking photography for them compared to the base YG. The print runs don't really play into it much for me because they're all overprinted as hell. They will get overlooked but I kind of like the UD Game Dated Moments Gold (#/100). Obviously not a high-end card by any means, but you can usually get a good deal on most player's debut card once their YG drops and the market starts to get flooded with product. Update, I went with a Young Guns High Gloss /10. Considering what I paid, its the one and only rookie I need of his lol.
