1 Box of 2024-25 SPx - UGLY

Everyone,
Turning the big 50 this year and my sister bought me a box of SPx, and wow was that a disaster. Best card was a Finite Tuxedo of Beniers 16/25! No autos at all. Did also get a Bossy Holoview, Hutson Bound for Glory and Crosby Game Time.

I am glad it was not my money but WOOF, this just reminds me why I do not open this crap anymore. I will stick with my low-end OPC and Series 1-2, they at least don't make me feel bad...

If it makes you feel better, your sister likely paid less than a S1-2 box. That makes the pain a little better.

It looks like a pretty good break for this product. Autos are not guaranteed and you got some decent names for your inserts. SPx went down in price this year, now cheaper than UD1-2.

I think conservatively would get 50% value back on the box price, and that is actually not bad in the current wax environment.

I have never been a big SPx fan for a while now, and this box just hurt. I guess this is why I don't buy these kinds of boxes. I am a player collector so buying the guy I want on the secondary market works for me. Good luck to those who do open this, I hope you beat the odds!

Singles is definitely a more satisfying way to go in that case
