That was probably the one at auction that had a smashed bottom right corner. I was watching it too, but decided to pass because of the damage. Then, as luck has it, this one popped up the next morning so I messaged the seller an offer and he accepted it right away.

Certainly feels that way. Even the forum is slow. Last year about this time I would come home and there'd be a page and a half of threads to go through with new posts, now we're lucky if it's 3/4 of a page worth of new activity. Some will say it's just the forum life dying, and for their sake I hope that's all it is because if not I'm going to be insufferable.

I don't know what they put in the drinking water in his hometown, but his extended family from Venezuela has produced over 60 pro baseball players, including 8 MLB players. Pretty sure Ronald Acuna Jr. is one of his cousins.

...But it does mean I completed the Gold Championship Parallel of the All-Time Series Team subset.
