Default Beasley beats Stephenson 1 on 1

And for those who know me personally...not related! Didn't know anything about this happening. Saw it on Instagram this morning. Odd and awkward banter before and after. Anything to add?

Beasley could have had a Melo-like career - so skilled offensively. But lack of professionalism and mental issues derailed it almost as soon as he entered the NBA.

Nailed it.... guy showed flashes of being a high lever 1-1 scorer.

Never got it all together.

The issue for Beasley was that he was a tweener.

Not really fast enough or a good enough shooter to be a starting 2 or 3, nor was he big enough to be a legit 4.

You just don't see guys like him do well in the modern game.

Which is why he rarely started.

He also couldn't defend any position.

I’m a big fan of Beasley interviews.

People forget he was statistically one of the best one-and-dones ever. He should've been a much, much better pro but wasn't there mentally.

Ran into a guy in SE DC once wearing K-State gear which I found rather odd so I asked him about it and he turned out to be old homies with Beasley.

Beasley used to cook LeBron in 1 on 1 during practice, no surprise he beat Lance

Although Lance has been known as Jordan version 3.0
