Default 2025 Score Football…

Is VERY SURPRISING in a good way. Let’s get this out of the way - it’s still Score. So if you prefer shiny chrome cards and you need to have your RC in pro jerseys move along because no you still won’t like Score.

For everyone else, if you can “score” boxes for under $200 you actually have a fair chance of making your money back. Why? Look at the signers on the checklist. Yes there are a few key RC without autos (most notably, Ward and Dart). But reality is FAR more good RC signed for Panini and his year compared to last few years. Also the NIL autos offer checklist is ridiculously good. Among the big chases are Arch Manning, Jeremiah Smith, and Bryce Underwood, among others. And these NIL autos fall 5-7 per case so not awfully difficult to pull.

Anyway I think this is legit a decent value rip and much better compared to Score from other years.

Obviously we get rookies still in their college duds, but those are guys who have been drafted and we see their NFL team on the card. I find it very strange that we are getting still-in-college players in an NFL product.

I guess Panini is going to shoehorn Arch into as much product as possible to generate higher sales.

The amount fo arch manning cards is going to be even more ridiculous than the current hobby overproduction. My body is ready for a print run of 50,000 prizm silvers. Guys only 9,000 PSA 10s. Get in now

For anyone wondering, they are still dumping 23-24 stickers in this product.

Raiders vet autos are still AOC and Tre Tucker.

The NIL inclusions feel much more like a "hey we have a bunch of stickers left and not enough product to offload them so let's throw them in an NFL product" thing. I don't disagree that a few of those guys are going to have more value than most NFL guys you pull out of this, but this is still an NFL product, not a college one.

Meh…..ward and Dart cards are pajama cards. Looks like panini doesn’t have a deal with Miami or ole miss so their jerseys are airbrushed. Not sure what other schools they don’t have a deal with so even more rookies will be airbrushed uniforms, only plus is they are able to at least note the team they are on. At least they’ll be first to market I suppose

The sticker dump begins. panini does not have the rights to the biggest schools Miami, Alabama, lsu, Oregon Florida to name a few.

With the one exception arch because he’d a panini exclusive. Value wise BUC are much valuable than any nil panini stuff.

Seems like a decent enough option to rip something with my son and not lose a fortune.

I hate that but the product is great. Just bought 3 cases from a got that opened it. All he kept was autos and numbered stuff.

Got the urge to rip something, and saw the Score-a-treat packs that were cheap, knowing there wasn't anything too terribly rare in them, and I'd have to say that, at least compared to Score from back around 2018 or so, it's extremely easy to damage corners on these. Just opening the packs was enough to roughen up some of them, and I was being exceptionally careful with them. Hopefully the normal version is a lot less sensitive.

Got a Bryce Underwood auto in a break. One of the better autos. Not bad for the price of a blaster box.

Like when Mahomes Prizm rookies hit $10k and a third of them are graded PSA 10.

The Score A Treat cards are considerably flimsier than normal score cards. Not that normal Score is crazy sturdy, but they are roughly 2-3x more solid.

That's good to know. It was a quasi-fun break of packs that satisfied the itch (although I didn't get a copy of Matthew Golden's card, being a Packers fan that was a bit disappointing), but glad I paid less than retail for them. Just blows my mind that the odds of pulling something other than base was something like 1:150 packs.... That's crazy.

They definitely print a metric ton of those, manufacturers in the 1980's would blush seeing the print run.

The price on this is rising beyond the value at this point I think. Most are OOS and those with are now $250/box and $3k/case.

Seems wild for Score.

The next year is going to be wild. With Panini products finishing up their licenses and Topps coming on. There will be people foaming at the mouth for each and it will cause stupid prices for both Topps and Panini products in my opinion. The Panini people won't want to miss out on the last offerings that are available and the Topps people will want the new stuff that hasn't been available for many years. With this transition happening on top of the hobby exploding in size its going to get crazy. Hold on tight, you aint seen nothing yet.

That was last year, this year is a normal glossy stock. Id say thicker than Topps baseball series 1/2/U

Yeah my OP was back when you could actually buy boxes for under $200. It was underpriced under $200 honestly but quickly market has overcorrected. Shocking…
