I searched to see if there was a Murray on COMC and there was! BUT it was $20… proof that Murray is 2X Larkin?

I always loved this one as a Kid and have multiple Copies - can't beat a Picture of your Favorite Player on your Favorite Team! Too bad it was from a movie

The fun thing about collecting solely based on eye appeal is finding awesome looking cards for cheap

I confirmed this card is still under $10:

I love the “back of jersey” photo used on this card.

1996 Fleer Tiffany is a great set if you love 90s players but have a strict budget.

Ripped a '21 Update Jumbo this year and had never seen this card before. Sells for like $3-$4.

Not a lot of choices for Clemente, but the 1972 In Action card is a great one that can be had under 10.00

League Leader cards are also good options. 1961 Topps 1960 Batting Leaders has Clemente and Mays. 1968 Topps 1967 RBI Leaders has Clemente, Aaron and Cepeda. Those can both be bought for under 10.00. There is a Clemente, Mays, Aaron League Leader card in 1966 Topps, but that one would cost you 20.00+.

My favorite cheap Bonds are base cards and parallels of base cards from the first half of the 90s, 1993 and 1994 in particular. Looking at this card - the Electric Diamond parallel of the base card - transports me back to the summer of 1994...some good memories. It's some of the best photography I've seen in any baseball set:

I have don't any emotional attachment to the evolution of these the next year in 1995 - the Electric Gold - but along the lines of NYBBFAN above they are super sneaky rare, 1:218 boxes - basically 1 in 11 cases - to hit the whole set (representing the odds to hit your particular guy):

You can see the effect of steroids from one year to the next.
