What do you all think about Denzer Guzman?

barely 21 he didn't hit well in low A but something has clicked since AAA, in MLB now with 2 HR so far, one tonight.

Potential?

.211/.250/.776 4-19, 2 solo homers is cool for the kid, but nothing seems exciting in his first few games there. 137 strikeouts in 129 games in the minors this season, 12 strikeouts in 19 at bats in the majors.

i wouldn't be optimistic

He is very young for AAA. He is 21. Most players are 24.

His scouting report isn't great.

I have waaay more cards of Guzman than I did of Kyren Paris and I absolutely started a thread on Kyren Paris so, yeah, I agree with this sentiment.

I watched him in AA. Great fielder and hitter. He needs to fine tune his eye, meaning turn some strikeouts into walks. Youth is on his side and works hard

I have over 100 1st Bowman Chromes of him from the old days. Way back when Houdini had his breaks.

Love it and miss those breaks so much. I've joined a few Fanatics breaks and can never make it past a few boxes before it's just too cringe.

I'm currently watching one of my Houdini "100-case" guys (Daylen Lile) enjoy a hot spell and it's just shy of exhilarating. I could've sat through 1,000 cases of a Houdini/JB break.
