Default COMC Question

So I sent in a package of cards last year and the due date for all cards to be entered into my account was January 7th of this year. Here we are a few days past the due date.

What/will/if anything can I request/they do since they did not meet the due date?

Oh boy. Cant wait to see the answers to this one.

Short answer. They don’t care. You MIGHT get a $5 credit.

As answered on COMC's website:

"Submissions that have missed due dates receive an automatic 50% discount on all Elite and Select cards processed subsequent to the due date. An automatic 20% discount is applied on late Standard cards."

Just to note - many times the submission processing status will show the submission as still having cards to be processed, but in actuality the submission has been completed. Always go by the "Items Added" emails to get an actual account of any cards left to be processed, if any.

You should be getting 20% off each card processed, and that discount should be applied automatically. They will be processed eventually. They're usually just a few days behind when this happens, but I would bet it will take longer this month.

They just recently instituted a policy stating that if they have to do "a lot of catalog work" (research to ID what you sent in) they do not guarantee due dates anymore, which I assume means no 20% off. They stated the situations in which this applies, but I am wondering how consistent the policy is in practice.

Another reason I list and sell my own cards. So between new listings and sales over the last 40 days with the new EPSON 400 I have listed over 1700 cards So about 40 cards a day on average. I guess I could do more , but I am not using AI its just me.

So today I log into my account to just to check on the status of the 7 remaining cards from an order I sent back in October that was due on January 7. COMC has not updated the due date to April 7, 2026 without notice or anything. Have an email in customer service to ask why and all.
