Attended a card show in Burlingame, CA last week. They actually had 2 tables selling sealed wax. The rest were Pokemon tables.
Went to the Teammates table and got some Topps Chrome Hobby regular and Topps Flagship. The Chrome was $700 while Flagship was $200. The dealer who I know gave me a free blaster box of Topps Chrome basketball. Freebie Box of Chrome-
Ace was the best of the blaster. Not great but hey it was a free blaster. Topps Chrome Hobby Box 1 highlights
Topps Chrome Hobby Box 2
Topps Flagship regular hobby
Bonus silver pack
Notable RC commons- VJ Edgecombe, Derick Queen, Kon Knueppel I thought my Flagship hobby box was way better than the 2 chrome hobby and free blaster. Usually these hobby boxes just have relic cards. I got one that had 2 autos plus a low #'d parallel card. Cool that I got an auto in the bonus pack. True not the player you want but it's tough to get an auto in those silver packs. I noticed something different about the pack before I opened it. The ones I opened before the packs were thinner. This one was a puffier pack. I suspect it was due to the gold auto being somewhat warped and not as flat as the other chromium cards. Dealer only had 1 flagship hobby box so easy to choose from. Versus the chrome hobby. He had 10 of them. Unfortunately I picked the wrong 2 boxes. The other table (MojoBreaks) was selling Chrome at $800 a box and Jumbo Chrome for $2,000. Really surprised at the jump. I thought when I paid $1300 for my jumbo that was high. But $2,000 is around Breaker Delight prices. Did not get anything from their table. Anyone else from the Bay Area attend last week's show?
