Default Question about a buyer opening up an Arrived Damage Case

I sold a Cooper Flagg Topps Chrome Rookie with corner damage that I disclosed in all caps not only the title of the auction but the auction description and also of course provided clear pics of the damage. The buyer who won my auction ended up opening a case that the card arrived damaged and he didn't see the damage. Tomorrow is the day I can finally have Ebay step in. I mean..unless you're super careless (which seems like this guy was) you cannot miss that this was a damaged card being sold as is. I'm of course expecting the worst that Ebay will side with the buyer even though to me all the evidence should favor me. Do you think the buyer will end up winning the case?

You will likely lose the case via AI, but if you call and talk to a real person to appeal it should be reversed.

DO you accept returns? If you do then you will have to take it

I believe he mentioned in the other thread about the same transaction/buyer...he does not accept returns.

So just to follow up, predictably Ebay sided with the buyer, but I called them and although the buyer will get to keep the card and get refunded, they decided to refund them out of their funds. Sucks that the buyer gets to keep the card and get refunded, but I'm just glad it's not on my dime
